Watermark, a leader in software solutions for higher education, hosted its annual Engage Conference from June 12-15, 2024, at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. The conference kicked off with a bustling registration at the Marriott, where the planner and mastermind Lauren C. and her team at Eclipse Event Co. ensured a smooth check-in process. The hotel lobby was a lively scene, with people greeting old friends and making new connections. The event kicked off with a welcome reception, where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee from Coffee Cart MPLS mingled with the excited chatter of participants eager to embark on this educational journey.
The first day was all about setting the stage. they gathered for the opening keynote, a session that set the tone for the days to come, sparking curiosity and encouraging everyone to think big. The Headshot Bar, operated by The Headshot Bar, opened early, so that anyone that needed to refresh their professional headshot had the opportunity throughout the day .
Watermark's keynote sessions and breakout discussions offered deep dives into the company's Educational Impact. The evening offered something for everyone, from a thrilling poker tournament hosted by Ace High to captivating live acts by Enticing Entertainment. Throughout the event, delicious culinary creations from D’Amico Catering were served, ensuring that everyone’s taste buds were as delighted as their spirits. The event was a perfect blend of fun, networking, and entertainment.
The second day began with a dynamic keynote address, followed by tech run-throughs led by AVEX to ensure seamless presentations. Participants engaged in a "Circle of Success" session, where they exchanged ideas on leveraging data for continuous improvement.
