Hey, creative souls! Have you ever wondered what happens when the worlds of creativity and technology collide? Well, wonder no more because the first CREATE Community Conference for New Creatives took place in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. Hosted by the trailblazers at CHILI publish, this event brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry, and let me tell you, it was a whirlwind of inspiration and innovation!
Let's start from the beginning. Picture this: Europeans setting foot on American soil for the very first time. They were on a quest for the perfect venue to host this groundbreaking conference, and oh boy, did they find a gem! The Europeans were head over heels in love with the views from P6 at The Line Hotel. And that's where the magic began.
Behind the scenes, Lauren Chumbley and her team at Eclipse Event Co. worked tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the event was nothing short of spectacular. For two whole days, Lauren and her clients explored over 10 venue options around Austin before finally settling on The Line Hotel. It was the perfect choice!
The conference kicked off on June 28th in Topaz Pre-Function at The Line Hotel, and the excitement was palpable. The CHILI publish team, had their registration tables ready to welcome all the eager attendees. The venue was decked out, courtesy of Atomic Design's stunning decor, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Breakfast was served in all its mouthwatering glory, ensuring everyone was fueled up for the day ahead. And boy, what a day it was! Sessions on the "State of Creative Tech in 2023" and "CHILI GraFx product and roadmap" had the crowd on the edge of their seats. But it wasn't all business and no play! During the day, guests were treated to snacks like fresh fruits and croissants, thanks to The Line's thoughtful catering. And after a full day of enriching discussions, it was time to let loose at the Welcome Party in P6. The Weak Knights took center stage, filling the air with their mellow tunes while guests enjoyed delectable appetizers and, of course, a well-stocked bar.
Day two kicked off with a bang as well, with sessions on "Using Technology to Enhance Creativity" and "The Existential Impact of AI Creativity." The atmosphere was buzzing with creative energy, and it was incredible to witness how technology and art were seamlessly woven together.
Lunchtime saw an array of delicious options, from smoked turkey sandwiches to eggplant caponata delights. And as the conference came to a close, the participants left with new knowledge, connections, and a fire in their hearts to push the boundaries of creativity.
As the sun set on Austin, the Europeans packed up their bags and bid farewell to the city that welcomed them with open arms. The CREATE Community Conference had created new waves of inspiration, and everyone left feeling ready to conquer the world of creativity with technology as their ally.
Of course none of this would be possible without the help from our amazing vendors, Palladium Production Services, Global Printing Solutions, Encore Global, and of course our team at Chili Publish!
Needless to say this conference was a huge hit. Until next time!
