When the TSE + Catersource conference wrapped up in Austin this year, the only fitting way to end it was with a closing party that pulled out all the stops. Hosted at Superstition and planned by Kristi with Eclipse Event Co., this night wasn’t just a party—it was a holographic, high-energy celebration of creativity, innovation, and everything Austin has to offer.
From the moment guests arrived, Superstition was transformed into a prismatic playground of light, sound, and color. The venue’s sleek design served as the perfect backdrop for our holographic vision, elevated by glowing crystal lighting balloons and dramatic flame tubes provided by Airstar America. Every inch of the space felt alive, buzzing with anticipation as attendees stepped into a world of immersive entertainment, exquisite bites, and unexpected surprises.
The ambiance was everything. Specialty lighting from Brighter Side Event Lighting enhanced the venue’s reflective surfaces, casting iridescent hues across the dance floor and highlighting Monarch Floral’s bold and ethereal arrangements. Custom vinyl installations from Austin Sign Co. added a personalized touch, and the sleek rentals from Premiere Events TX, paired with luxurious linens from BBJ + La Tavola, tied it all together.
As guests mingled, holographic stilt walkers and dancers from Champagne Creative Group moved gracefully through the crowd, their costumes catching the light and adding a sense of whimsy to the evening. The vibe was elegant yet playful, and it set the tone for the unforgettable night ahead.
The culinary experience was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the team at Crave Catering. They didn’t just serve food—they created art. Guests were treated to passed appetizers like Duck Fat Hash Browns and Franklin’s BBQ Brisket Deviled Eggs, along with creative small plates such as Fried Rolled Gulf Oysters and Red Wine Pappardelle with Braised Oxtail. And let’s not forget the dessert bar upstairs—a colorful display of mini pop tarts, homemade marshmallows, and Fruity Pebble Rice Krispy Treats, arranged on glowing acrylic risers.
But the drinks? That’s where the real magic happened. House of Attention’s drone bartenders stole the show, gliding across the room to deliver glittering piña coladas. It was futuristic, surprising, and completely mesmerizing—exactly the kind of touch we wanted to elevate the night.
At this party, you didn’t just watch the entertainment—you became part of it. Live painter Sergio from Backbeat Entertainment captivated the crowd on the main stage, creating stunning artwork in real time as DJ Lindsey spun high-energy tracks, accompanied by live saxophone and guitar. Upstairs, Paintillio’s collaborative mural invited guests to pick up a brush and leave their own mark on the evening.
For those looking for something a little more personal, Artistic Talent Group’s cork caricature artist was a hit, crafting quirky, keepsake portraits. Meanwhile, performers from Champagne Creative Group added an element of surprise and wonder at every turn, from stilt walkers to roving dancers who seamlessly blended into the holographic ambiance.
No detail went unnoticed—or undocumented. The talented teams at AGNYC + AMDA and Spot My Photos ensured every moment of the night was captured, while Oh Happy Day Booth provided a fun, interactive photo booth for guests to take home memories of the event. With so much happening at once, it was a relief to know that every angle of the night was preserved.
As the night wound down, it was clear no one wanted it to end. But, of course, we had to go out with a bang. Superstition’s AV team coordinated the final moments perfectly, releasing a cascade of white confetti as DJ Lindsey, the saxophonist, and the guitarist brought the energy to a peak. It was the kind of moment that makes you stop, smile, and think, “This is why we love what we do.”
An event like this is only possible with an incredible team of vendors, and we were fortunate to work with some of the best. From the glitter makeup provided by All Dolled Up ATX to the stunning balloon installations by Pop & Drop, every element came together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience.
At Eclipse Event Co., we’re always up for a challenge, and this event was one for the books. The TSE + Catersource 2024 Closing Party wasn’t just an end to a conference—it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the power of live events.
